Spike Crush v.2

"Really easy."

submission: Spike Crush v.2

I think you have a lot of potential, but the game seems like it was made in a hurry. The artwork could be better, but it's the little things that seperate addictively fun games from mediocre crap games. This was really easy, even on Insane mode. Mainly because of 2 things: you can continuously drop spikes without interruption making a spike wall that the stickman walks in to winning the level, and the head is not the only vulnerable point. To make this game more fun and challenging I would make it so the head is the only point that will win the level, put a little more effort into the artwork, and put a delay between the dropping of the spikes. You've got potential, keep it up.

Ketchupy Ham

"Cool"

The beginning was great. The transitions were smooth and almost unnoticed but the longer it progressed the more random it got and the more randomness, though funny and unique, did more harm than good. The beginning was badass, and it's to be expected that a crazy turn of events was bound to happen but I think it would have been better overall to either have some consistency or no consistency but not to begin with a lot of similarity and end in chaos. Good flash though.

Author's Response:

Alright, thanks. Ya, as it progressed we kind of got out of control and... in "random moods". But thanks for the review! We'll take your advice in the future!

Gay Samurai Version 1.0

"That was pretty neat."

date: January 27, 2005

For a beta that was pretty neat. Good music and funny sound effects. No clue how you get past the beginning on the 4th level, the one that looks like wood crates. Also you can enter the blocks from certain angles and it causes your player to be unable to move. Didn't really understand the name, but keep tweaking and I'm sure you'll have a nice finished product.

u cant get passed, it's a glitch. too lazy to change it =O

The clay moved really smoothly and that was the best possible song you could have picked, hehe. Great work man.

Sunscreen Tree

"Excellent"

submission: Sunscreen Tree

I really liked this, a lot. I like the tone and style of it all, and the frank voice narrating, but still having a tinge of humor. The message was clear, and I enjoyed viewing it immensely.

The only constructive criticism I would offer is that when the music starts to pick up, and gets louder, it makes it more difficult to hear the narration. But overall great work man.
